Ein Punkt im Himmel (2006) Video-Installation, Loop 4'30'' 4:3

The video „Ein Punkt im Himmel/ a dot in the sky“ shows a blue sky, a white cloud and two birds. The sky area will be technically blowed up, pixels will bee seen on screen until at the end the sky consists of one pixel only. The magnification is going back then to normal size. The zoom is oscillating between a magnification of 1 and 10.000.000 diameters. A pixel normally cannot be identified but this time appears extremly big on screen. The blue and matt light is similar to the cloudless sky as well as to the technical beamer light when nothing is projected.
