fall float evenly (2010) Video Installation HD 16:3
„Snow noise“ can be seen on analog TV when nothing is broadcasted. The projection is made of 4 video screens put side by side. Each of them shows snow flakes taped at night with the nightsky as the background. The normal image of those swirling snowflakes at night is in black and white. The screens will be then separated into their three layers red, green and blue (RGB), which are as well the fundamental colours of light. Those fundamental colours are shifting slowly and horizontally while moving from on screen to another. Different kinds of motion pattern can be seen of the natural snow flake swirling and the artifical underlying regularity. There will be white light again when the three layers coincide.
